Bradlecká Lhota is located around 7km south of Lomnice nad Popelkou, on the border of Český ráj and Podkrkonoší. A geological break between Česká tabule and the rocks in Podkrkonoší comes through the area.

The village is mentioned first in 1395, but it was founded during the great colonization of Bohemia around 1200. Among other things, Bradlecká Lhota is known because semi-precious stones, in particular agates, may be found in the surrounding fields. In the brook you may find beautifully coloured Czech garnets.

Thanks to its interesting location and accessibility, Bradlecká Lhota is a popular holiday resort. There are many attractive places for hiking and cycling excursions in the vicinity of the village.
