The first records of Čtveřín date back to 1394. The dominant feature of both parts of the village is the building of the former school, nowadays the seat of the local council. Another significant building is the bell tower, built in the place of a former chapel.

Thanks to its location, Čtveřín is a good starting point for hikers and cyclists, because there are numerous tracks leading to Podještědí and Český ráj in the nearby surroundings of the village.
