The first notes on Háje date back to 1635. Various historical monuments have been preserved in Háje and its adjacent parts, such as cottages and farmhouses typical for the Pojizerský region, or a timbered bell tower in Dolní Sytová. The village is situated in interesting natural scenery; the local landscape is ideal for hiking and cycle touring.
