Veselá is situated in the picturesque and attractive location of Český ráj. Around 5km north of the village there is Kozákov, a hill known for the occurrence of semi-precious stones, and around 5km to the south-west you will find one of the dominant features of Český ráj, the ruin of Trosky Castle. In the environs of Veselá there are numerous cycling tracks and hiking trails.
