The location of Modřišice is advantageous, because the village lies at the main road from Prague to Turnov and simultaneously close to Český ráj. There are numerous cycle tracks and tourist trails in the surroundings. From Modřišice you may go south-east to Klokočské and Betlémské skály, to the Kozákov, Rotštejn and Waldstein castles, Dlaskův statek, or to the museum in Turnov.
