The first record of the village dates back to 1382. Calvary with reliefs of St. Anna, Florian, John of Nepomuk and Anthony, dating back to the 19th century, have been preserved in the village. In the surroundings there are various natural and architectonic monuments.

The village is a good starting point for excursions to Suché skály. For lovers of skiing, there is a 600-metre-long downhill slope with a ski lift directly in the village. There are many cycle tracks in the surroundings.
