Walk from the starting point at the car park near the restaurant and the swimming-pool in Prihrazy along the red trail past the swimming pool. The trail is called Budovec's trail. After a steep ascent to the rocky ridge you will reach Stare hrady - Old Castles. There used to stand a small medieval castle of which a few rocky rooms, remnants of a well and a moat cut into rocks have been preserved.
The trail continues following the edge of the rocks with frequent views in the northern direction. It will lead you to a restaurant called Na krasne vyhlidce - Belle Vue where you can have some refreshment. The area in front of the restaurant offers an attractive view of Jested, the Jizera valley, the Turnov region and the Zabakor pond (63 ha) which is a nature reserve with protected plants and many kinds of water birds. The pond is designated for fish breeding and swimming in it is forbidden.
In the southern direction you can see a prominent basalt hill called Muzsky (463 m) which sticks out from the sandstone plateau and gives a unique panoramic view. The memorial at the top reminds of a battle which was fought at the plateau during the Prussian - Austrian war in 1866. Due to its dominant position, Muzsky used to be a place of large gatherings of people.
Our trail continues along the blue marked trail to Hrazka. In its surroundings there are groups of Old Slavic tombs from the 7th and the 8th centuries. From the cross-roads at Hrazka there is a beautiful view of the Prihrazy Rock Town which consists of 178 rock towers. The best known is called Kobyli hlava - Mare's Head because of its shape. If you do not want to walk through the whole trail, you can turn left at Hrazka and return to the car park in Prihrazy along the yellow trail past the rock town and down the Prihrazy stairs.
Our trail continues from Hrazka along the blue trail to the turning to Hynsta, where the blue trail joins the red one for a short time. Hynsta is a picturesque place on a rock promontory with remnants of a medieval castle and a secret worship place of Czech Brethren. Even though you have to return following the same blue trail, the visit is warmly recommended.
Walk along the blue trail from the road-fork of the marked trail till the cross-roads with the yellow trail at the beginning of the Hrazka ravine. Our trail leads along the yellow trail from the cross-roads called Cerna louze - Black Pool. You will reach the road and walk along it to the Branzez village. From the road you can see the surface of the tourist Komarovsky Pond which is well-known because of its sandy bottom and warm water as it is rather shallow and the water warms up easily. Here there are two beaches and two campsites on its bank.
Turn left just before Branzez and, following the yellow trail, walk through the huts and you will reach Nova Ves. At the cross-roads in the village start walking along the green trail which leads here together with the blue marked biking trail. Pass the U Jezera Hotel and the turning to the beach. Leave the green trail at the campsite and continue along the fence of the campsite along the blue biking trail which will lead you to Srbsko.
Turn left to the red trail at the marked cross-roads at the road. First walk through the village along the road and then turn right. Follow the red trail and walk past the massive rock formation called Sokolka. The massif is about 500 m long and 200 m wide with a rock face which is high up to 40 m. It is formed by sandstone of various colours.
Walk along the red trail through the forest to the road-fork with the blue trail at Hynsta where you have walked. Our trail continues again along the red trail to the Prihrazy Stairs. Near the road-fork with the yellow trail at the edge of the rock plateau there are nice views of the Prihrazy Rock Town. There is a steep descent down the Prihrazy Stairs, along the red and yellow trails, to the starting point at the car park in Prihrazy.
