The canyon valleys under the Trosky Castle hide a group of eight ponds: Věžák, Nebák, Vidlák, Krčák, Hrůdka, Rokytnický, Dolský and Podsemín.

The pond is situated in the valley under former Kozlov Castle.

Bažantník Pond is situated in the picturesque region of Český ráj, not far from Lázně Sedmihorky.

The Drhlenský Pond is situated some 7 km to the southeast from Mnichovo Hradiště, to the east from Kněžmost.

Jinolické Ponds consist of three ponds – Oborský Pond, Němeček Pond and Vražda Pond that are located in picturesque environment under the Prachovské Skály Rocks.

The Jizera River is the most significant right-side tributary of the Elbe River. Its source area is in the Jizerské Hory, forming a state border between the Czech Republic and Poland. The river connects the territory of the Krkonoše, the Jizerské Hory and Český ráj: it is an axis of the whole area.

Komárovský, also called Velký Pond, is located in the recreational resort Branžež – Nová Ves.

Both ponds are situated under Kost Castle and both were important for its defence system.

There are two water areas in Příšovice, named Malý Písečák and Velký Písečák.

The pond is known for its gradual slope and sand beach.
