The Bohemian Paradise is an ideal destination for families with children. This region entangled with a number of legends and tales offers many places of interest which you and your children will surely enjoy visiting. When travelling around the region you may visit castles, chateaux, observation towers, and also beautiful dolls and teddy bears with glass eyes in the museum in Troskovice. In Železný Brod you can see how wound glass beads are made, and in the local museum you can use your imagination to create something from the beads. Once you get to Jičín, do not miss the highwayman Rumcajs’s shoemaking shop and the Museum of Play.

In Rovensko under Trosky there is a bell tower with ‘rebel bells’ the hearts of which are turned up and which are set in motion by stepping.
