Finding Schiller's memorial stone along the way can then be a great game for children, as it is not located directly on the road (road), but the Memorial is about 15 meters from the road, which is followed by a green hiking trail. From Mariánskohorské buds you can still follow the yellow tourist sign to the Protržená dam. It's not far. It is only one kilometer away from the cottages and it is a very interesting cultural monument. Ruptured dam The dam was once built on the river Bílá Desná. On September 18, 1916, the dam ruptured, which had catastrophic consequences. The flood wave not only caused enormous material damage, but also claimed 65 lives. These are unique remnants of a ruptured dam, whose inappropriate construction technology after the disaster served for safer calculations of other dam structures built after 1916.
