The hill named Borný is a basalt hill, elevated 446 metres above sea level.
It is stretched above Máchovo Lake, between Staré Splavy and Břehyně. The hill has sandstone terraces and its top is covered with forest. The terrace at the foot of the hill offers nice views of Máchovo Lake.
